THE COVID EFFECT ON OUTDOOR NOISE NOVEMBER 21, 2020
This documentary explores both the positive and negative effects of Covid-19 on outdoor and natural soundscapes in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver, in the form of a video essay and commentary. All the sound in the video is ambient sound, illustrating the Covid soundscape.
Shot during the pandemic on an iPhone 8 by Vancouver filmmaker and activist Elvira Lount, between March 12, 2020 and October 31, 2020, while on her outdoor runs and walks in her neighbourhood of Kitsilano and Point Grey.
